nieuw artikel gepubliceerd in applied surface science

We delen graag ons nieuwste werk, gepubliceerd in het tijdschrift 'Applied Surface Science'. In deze publicatie werd de combinatorische rol van uitgelijnde elektrogesponnen PCL/chitosan-nanovezels en diëlektrische barrière-ontladings plasmabehandeling aangetoond op stamcel-afgeleide cardiomyocyten. Dit werk is getiteld: 'Combinatorial effects of surface plasma-treating and aligning PCL/chitosan nanofibers on the behavior of stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes for cardiac tissue engineering.', en werd uitgevoerd in samenwerking met de onderzoeksgroep Plasma Technology van de universiteit Gent.

Nieuw onderzoek van onze groep werd gepubliceerd in het tijdschrift 'Matrix Biology', waarin de rol van zowel cardiale fibroblasten als cardiomyocyten bij het Marfan-syndroom wordt benadrukt. De publicatie is geschreven door dr. Aalders en collega's, en is getiteld: Three-dimensional co-culturing of stamcell-derived cardiomyocytes and cardiac fibroblasts reveals a role for both cell types in Marfan-related cardiomyopathy.
